Star Machine Co. sold out by the sheriff and property bid in by Mrs. Hammelmann for $700, who is running the business under the management of her husband, most of whose unsecured creditors are said to have agreed to accept 75¢
      The Star Machine Company (Charles Hammelmann) has nearly finished a four-story machine shop, 110x34 feet, at 198 and 200 Terrace street, Buffalo, N. Y. He will begin the manufacture of wood-working machinery, of his own design, some time in May. The shop will be run by a forty-horse power Woodbury Booth & Pryor engine.
      This report was in the 1911 Commerce reports: Volume 1 - Page 1064 “Included in the plant's equipment are a heavy band saw built by the Star Machine Co., of Buffalo.”
