Improvement in boring-machines
|
Samuel U. King |
Windsor, VT |
The patent specification says that the patent was assigned to "Lamson & Goodman" but there is no doubt that that is a misprint. Lamson & Goodnow began as E. G. Lamson in 1842, and became Lamson & Goodnow Mfg. Co. in 1844. They are still in business; from the beginning, they made cutlery almost exclusively, with this timber boring machine a minor sideline for a few years. |
