At point, probably in the 1940s, this company advertised a 10-inch bandsaw called the "Page". So far we have not seen a surviving example.

Pioneer Manufacturing Co. is best remembered as the maker of a line of small tractors. The company was in business by the mid-1920s; it appears that they began as M. B. M. Manufacturing Co. of Milwaukee, and changed their name sometime between 1929 and 1932. In 1946 the company name changed again, to RED-E Tractor Co. They bought out another Milwaukee maker of small tractors, Page Dairy and Farm Equipment Co., in or before 1949; the two companies apparently had ties going back several years before that.

• A web page on the Red-E tractor (constituting an article written by Ed Balcomb that was published in Gas Engine magazine and put on the web by Jeff Allen) provides some data points on Pioneer Manufacturing Co.:
  • They were in business by the mid-1920s, when they supplied the flywheel used on the Red-E tractor engine.
  • In 1927 they built a factory in West Allis, WI, where the produced the tractor, now called the "Pioneer RED-E Power Cultivator".
  • In 1946 Pioneer moved its factory to Richfield, WI, and changed its name to RED-E Tractor Co.
  • Page Dairy and Farm Equipment Co. of Milwaukee was acquired by Pioneer in or before 1949; the two companies likely had some sort of relationship for some years before this.
  • The RED-E Tractor Co. ceased operations sometime during the early 1960s (another tractor web site mentions 1962).
