This maker was active in the 1920s through 1940s. Oscar Earl Hadwiger made floor sanding machines and a horizontal boring machine.

Information Sources

Thanks to Bill LaMorris for posting pictures of his Hadwiger boring machine, which is the first we heard of this maker.
A patent search revealed four sanding-machine patents, dated 1926 through 1949. Although the above boring machine says, "patent pending" on it, no such patent has been found.
A web search reveals several pages with information on the art of Oscar Hadwiger.
