This firm is listed in the 1874 work, Wiley's American iron trade manual of the leading iron industries of the United States: "Allbright & Stroh [sic]. Steam engines and machinery." The correct spelling of the company name comes from the Virtual Museum of Pennsylvania Iron Furnaces & Iron Works.

The principals were J. J. Albright and Abraham Stroh. The latter had a patent for a machine to make slate frames. This firm, therefore, is listed here under the assumption that they manufactured that machine. It seems that this firm's primary business was as a foundry.
