This firm, originally operating as E. J. Horn, was established in 1846 and survived until at least 1872. The principals were Oliver A. Horn and William P. Horn.

  • From an ad in the 1872 issue of Boyd's New York State Directory. The ad reads,
    O. A. Horn & Bro., (Successors to E. J. Horn,) manufacturers of portable and stationary steam engines, cylinder, flue, and tubular boilers, improved circular saw and planing mills, and mill gearing of every description. Established 1846. O. A. Horn & Wm. P. Horn. Addison Steuben Co., N.Y.
  • An 1869 patent for a circular saw gauge was granted to the brothers.
