This maker of reciprocating saw hangings was active from 1870 (and perhaps earlier) until 1878. The principals were Gilbert J. Kingsbury and George T. Davis. By 1879, Davis was no longer on the scene and Kingsbury was on his own, making cracker machinery (as he had before), but not saw hangings.

- From an ad in an 1870 directory of New York state: "Kingsbury & Davis, Manufacturers of Cracker and biscuit machinery, ... Vale's rotary oven ... Manufacturers for Russell & Co. of Hamilton’s Oscilating and Reciprocating Saw Hangings." The proprietors were G. J. Kingsbury and Geo. T. Davis.
- The 1870 through 1878 editions of the Rochester City Directory lists this firm. The 1879 edition does not; instead, there is a listing for "Kingsbury Gilbert J., cracker machinery, Mill opp. Factory, h. 48 Jay". There is a listing for "Davis George T. (Kingsbury & Davis), Shawmut buildings, house 41 South Ford" but this seems to be a holdover from the previous edition. The next edition we have access to is the 1884 edition, and it has an ad for G. J. Kingsbury, "Manufacturer of Cracker Machines, Cracker Cutters of all styles, Rotary and Reel Ovens, at the Works, Shawmut Building, Mill Street, Rochester, N. Y."
