- The 1894-08-17 issue of Steel and Iron had this note: "The Central Machine Works, in North Minneapolis, Minn., were destroyed by fire recently. causing a loss of about $6000 partly covered by insurance."
- This company was assigned a couple of patents, awarded 1926 and 1967, respectively. The first patent was for a brick-making machine and the second was for a springboard. The patents are not much help except to provide a couple of data points on their years of operation.
