Founded in the 1920s, the National Rivet & Mfg. Co. began by manufacturing rivet fasteners. During WWII, virtually all of the aircraft rivets used in the American war effort were manufactured at their Waupun, Wisconsin, facilities. Eventually, their product line expanded to include rivet setting machines, which is of the main interest to this website.
