The Detroit Power Screwdriver Co. was founded in 1926 in Detroit, MI. The company specialized in pneumatic assembly tools, particularly for the booming automotive industry's need for faster fastening of slotted screws. By the late 1930's, the company was a known producer of high-speed power screwdrivers and related assembly machinery.
