American Edelstaal, Inc. was an importer and distributor of machine tools in the USA. Canadian Edelstaal, Ltd. of Scarborough, Ontario, was their counterpart north of the border. The machinery they imported and sold were European, especially Austrian.

Edelstaal's Unimat and Maximat lathes, milling machines and woodworking machines were manufactured in Austria, Germany and Italy by Emco Meier GmbH.
