Heermann Maschinenbau GmbH - abbreviated as HEMA- grows to become one of the largest manufacturers of wood band saws.
On January 1st, 2022, WINTERSTEIGER AG acquired a majority stake in HEMA Heermann Maschinenbau GmbH in Frickenhausen, Germany. WINTERSTEIGER AG will retain the Frickenhausen site and the HEMA brand.
Today, HEMA is managed by Paul Heermanns great-grandchildren and designs complete, innovative and customized sawing and cutting systems for a wide variety of materials.
