This firm manufactured Steam Engine Valve Gear invented by Ellis J. Woolf who, in 1889, was the vice-president of said firm.
The Woolf Valve Gear Company, Minneapolis Minn., announce, in their annual report, that they have negotiated, during the year, new license contracts for the use of their Woolf valve gear with the Harrison Machine Works of Belleville, Ill., and the New Hamburg Manufacturing Company of New Hamburg, Ontario, and for their Woolf compound with the Holt Manufacturing Company of Stockton, Cal.
