From 1941 until 1953, this company made some woodworking machines, including 6" and 8" jointers.

This company was founded by J. W. Wheatley in 1941 as Windsor Machinery Sales. That firm was a machine shop that specialized in producing woodworking machines, and it was located in a garage at the rear of Wheatley's residence. The name Wheatley Machine & Tool Co. was used on the machines we have seen, but we do not know how that name fits in.

Wheatley Manufacturing was formed in September 1953. That year its power tool line was discontinued; die sets, steel plate, and grinding made up their main lines of business. In 1967, ITL (International Tools Ltd.) purchased Wheatley Manufacturing, and in 1982 they in turn were purchased by Anchor Lamina Inc..
