Established in 1866 by William H. Blymyer after he had sold his former business, Blymyer, Day & Co. of Mansfield, OH. By 1870, they were manufacturing cane mills & other agricultural machinery.
      From 1875 to 1889, Blymyer manufactured Steam Engines, Steam Boilers & Portable Steam Engines to go with the agricultural machinery that he sold.
      By 1926, the Blymyer Iron Works Co. had merged with the George L. Squier Mfg. Co. to form the largest Sugar Cane Machinery company in the U.S.
