  • Information Sources

    • From ad in 1883 issue of Carpenter & Builder for foot- and hand-powered tablesaws.
    • The June 1883 issue of Carpenter & Builder has an illustrated writeup on this company's small drill press. The unusual design has a lineshaft-powered bitstock that does not move up or down; instead, the surface of the work table is raised with a lever. The distance from post to center of table is only 3.5 inches, and the whole machine is only 26 inches high. The writeup also gives the company's address: 152 and 154 Lake Street, Chicago.
