Beginning in about 1995, TracRac, Inc. manufactured "TracMaster" miter-saw stands with integrated stock supports and cut-off stops. The company also manufactured various types of truck racks and roof racks which are outside the scope of this website. By 2005 the TracRac line of miter-saw stands was being sold through Bosch, but patent records tell us that TracRac, Inc., was still the designer and manufacturer. We have also seen TracRac miter saw stands bearing the Hitachi name. In late 2010 TracRac, Inc., was acquired by The Thule Group for their rack products; the miter-saw products continued in production under the "Thule TracRac" name, but so far as we can tell these products were soon discontinued.
