In the early 1980s Donald Strong patented a miter gauge accessory that allowed the cutting a pair of left and right miters without needing to change the gauge setting and so that the two mitered ends make a perfect 90 degree corner. An example is reported marked only with the patent number. Three more patents were awarded to Strong for subsequent improvements so it appears that he manufactured it for several years but we have not been able to determine the business name used.
