Beginning by the late 1950s, Clary Corp. manufactured saws and related equipment for manufacturing roof and floor trusses. It is unclear what happened but by 1978, Clary's machines were being manufactured and sold by Speed-Saw, Inc., which became Speed-Cut, Inc., of Corvallis, Oregon.

  • The patents assigned to this firm are all granted to George L. Mayo of Forth Worth, TX. Some of the patents give Clary Corp.'s location as Fort Worth and others give it as San Gabriel, CA. A 1978 patent granted to Mayo is assigned to Speed-Saw, Inc., of Corvallis, a 1981 patent is assigned to Stoddard H. Pyle and Wayne R. Roberts of Corvallis, and a 1985 patent is assigned to Automated Robotic Systems, Inc.
