We have seen a bandsaw marked with the name McCormick Machinery Co. of Montreal on the cast iron upper wheel cover and Eastern Industries / Drummondville on the lower wheel cover. The bandsaw, which is an unusual 19" size, strongly resembles bandsaws of that size that were made by Eastern Industries, Ltd.. There is little doubt that Eastern Industries manufactured the saw for machinery reseller McCormick Machinery.
McCormick Machinery Co. was established in 1917 by M. J. McCormick, and the business survived into the early 1960s. They were never very large and did not seem to do much advertising or other promotion.
