In January 1924 the company was dissolved by the State of Delaware, where they were incorporated, after failing to pay their taxes for two years.

Information Sources

  • There is remarkably little information on available on this company. Thus far we have not found any ads, articles, catalogs or other ephemera related to this manufacturer.
  • Motor with nameplate "Union Electric Motor Mfg. Co. / Philadelphia, Pa., U.S.A. / Induction Motor" and a patent date, Nov. 6 1917. We have not found an electric motor patent assigned to this firm, nor could we find a motor patent issued on this date and granted or assigned to someone in Philadelphia. The patent corresponding to this date is almost certainly 1,245,701.
