Claim:
A machine tool, comprising a frame provided with a vertical guide head and a horizontally extending-bed, a platen horizontally and transversely movable on said bed, a spindle and spindle carrying head movable on said guide head, spindle actuating gearing in said head, change gearing in said frame operatively connected to said platen and spindle and spindle actuating gearing, and gear control mechanism on said bed operatively connected to said change gearing and longitudinally adjustable with respect to said platen for controlling all of said parts through said change gearing during the operation of the latter. |
