This and related companies manufactured Thriftmaster multiple spindle drillheads. The first reference found to Thriftmaster is 1944, as Thriftmaster Division, Zimmer-Thomson Corp. By June 1945 the name was Thriftmaster Division, Thomson Industries, Inc., and Thriftmaster Products Corp. by 1948. A 1951 ad states that they also manufactured Dorman automatic reverse tappers.
