From an ad in an 1888 issue of "American Cabinet Maker and Upholsterer" for George P. Vicken's patent "straight and curved wood moulding and carving machines and spiral or rope moulding machines". The ad announces that Vicken had sold his interests to S. L. King of Grand Rapids, doing business as Grand Rapids Carved Moulding Co.
