Drilling-machine and drill
|
Verner J. Wahlstrom |
Brooklyn, NY |
This invention is a combination of a drill press chuck and drill bits such that a drill bit has a shoulder that engages with the bottom surface of the chuck so as to set the insertion depth, and the top surface of the drill bit (the end opposite the cutting tip) is shaped so as to positively engage with a corresponding receptacle in the chuck so that the bit cannnot slip in the chuck jaws. Various shapes of end surface are suggested. |
