The Anderson Brothers Manufacturing Co. manufactured press equipment as well as power scrapers for precision finishing of iron machine surfaces. The business was established in 1916 by Swan F. Anderson and two of his brothers.
Besides straightening presses and power scrapers, over the years they also manufactured static balancing says plus a diverse line of packaging equipment for the dairy industry, especially for ice cream treats such as Eskimo Pies.
In 1994 Anderson Bros. sold the hand scraper and static balancing way product lines to Allen Hoople, and those products are still in production, substantially unchanged, by A&W Precision.

- Patent information provided some key data points. Of note are a couple of pneumatic finish sander patents granted to Swan F. Anderson in the mid-1920s that were assigned to one C. Paul Parker of Chicago, and those patent numbers have been seen on sanders from Stuhr Finishing Products. These patents suggest that Anderson Bros., or at least Swan F. Anderson, were doing contract product design.
