      This firm manufactured Engine Lathes in the 1890's. They also manufactured an 22 in. swing Engine Lathe for the Buffalo Woodworking Machine Co. that featured Francis H. Craft's patented speed changing apparatus.

      "The firm of Dietz, Gang & Co., 58 and 60 Plum street, Cincinnati, O., manufacturers of patent radial drills and improved engine lathes has been dissolved by mutual consent. Wm. E. Gang retires, having sold his entire interest and good will with all rights to manufacture the same tools as heretofore. The new firm of Dietz, Schumacher & Company will double its capacity in the next 90 days and will bring into the market, a new back geared and power feed radial drill." (Quote from 1893.)
