We have reports of 12", 14", and 16" planers with
RD Industries cast into them, plus "Made in Quebec"; we have also seen jointers with "RD" cast into the cutter guard and is the only marking on the machine. We have also seen planers labeled, "Cobra Industries Inc. / RD Division / Quebec, Canada". We suspect that Cobra Industries acquired RD Industries but have not found any press releases or other confirmation that this occurred.
A search for more information on RD Industries and on Cobra Industries has turned up virtually no useful information. Please email us if you can provide any more information on these firms.
