This company was established in 1887 by William E. Kane and his brother-in-law B. F. Roach. They made hub boring machines, wheel drills, spoke drivers, band saws, jointers, planers and drill presses. Now part of MEECO, they mainly make sheet-metal equipment. Service and support for their sheet-metal equipment is still available.

- According to their website, Kane and Roach was established in 1887 in Syracuse, New York. In 1962 they were acquired by Birdsboro Corporation and moved to Birdsboro, PA. In 1986 they were purchased by MEECO of St. Louis, MO. Meeco continues to provide product support, repair, and training for all Kane & Roach machinery.
