During World War II the Russell Electric Co. manufactured fractional-horsepower electric motors. A Russell motor is reported with a "Navy Type No." and an anchor symbol on it, and we suspect that Russell only manufactured motors as part of the war effort.

In the November 1926 issue, page 72, half-page vertical ad from Sterling Electric that includes the Hold Heet electric match. On page 122 is a full-page ad for the "Hold-Heet" heating pad from Noyes Bros. & Cutler, Inc., Saint Paul, MN.
