The inventor's earlier patent 711,607 and this patent were used by the Williamson Manufacturing Co., which was established in 1902 to manufacture the earlier patent vise. The company name was changed to Williamson Vise Co. in about 1908 and then the company was acquired by the G. M. Yost Manufacturing Co., which continued to manufacture the Williamson line of vises. |
