This is the Canadian equivalent of US patent 196,380 and it appears that this vise. This Canadian patent is assigned to Edwin P. Curtis, who worked for agricultural implement maker Richardson Mfg. Co. The vise was manufactured by the Richardson company. The inventor had his own vise company, the Chas. Parker Co., but they did not sell this type of vise. |
