Beginning in 1902 the J. F. Kidder Manufacturing Co. made The Little Blacksmith hand-powered punches, shears, presses, benders, and notchers, and in various combinations. The company is still in business and manufacturing notchers, presses and brakes, as Kidder Metalworking or Kidder Machine Tool or Kidder Manufacturing.
