From 1901—if not earlier—until at least the 1920s, Frank Diehl manufactured woodworking machinery, including a band rip saw and a glue jointer of his own patented design. There must be some familial connection with G. M. Diehl Machine Works, but the two firms were in business at the same time so one cannot be the successor of the other.
