What is known about Bateman Foundry & Machine Co. and their products thus far is from their 1963 catalog. They made the Bateman Bantam Iron Worker, a combination shear and punch, and the Bateman Shear. Dies were available for the first machine for cutting mild steel channel and angle iron, and ornamental iron including handrail from several listed manufacturers. The catalog also describes the business. "This is a family owned corporation. We have a modern foundry, machine shop, pattern shop, forgings, plating, heat treat.
