This company was the successor to J. L. Perry Manufacturing Co., which was a short-lived maker of patent sanding machines.

From an ad in the May 1889 issue of The Wood Worker: Perrys "Perfection" wood polisher from Watertown Machine Co., described as being the successors to J. L. Perry Manufacturing Co., Ltd.
