Machine for rossing bark
|
Frank H. Stearns |
Eden, VT |
Co-inventors Albie E. Stearns (1858-1933) and Frank Herbert Stearns (1857-1947) were brothers. Frank was the owner of the F. H. Steaarns Mfg. Co. of Chester, Vt., machinery dealers and woodenware manufacturers. So far we have not been able to determine who, if anyone, made this Stearns bark rosser in the US, but in Canada ads confirm that it was made by the Eastman Lumber Co. of Eastman, QC. |
