This firm manufactured power punch presses. 1929 ads by Meyer Machinery Co. of Los Angeles said they were "headquarters for Vernon Punch Presses." As of 1930, Vernon presses were being made by the Baash-Ross Tool Co. of Los Angeles, according to an ad by their printing company.

Baash-Ross was incorporated May 17, 1920, and the president was L. F. Baash. From the National Museum of American History's summary, it appears that the company's primary business was oilfield supplies.

At some point in the history of the company, according to sales literature, the parent company became Ran Corporation of Richmond, CA.
