From the late 19th century until about 1970, this company made a variety of "farm and well machinery", including sawmills, lath bolters, shingle machines, drag saws, and steam and gasoline engines.

  • An obituary for Roger David Swanstrom (who died Feb. 21, 2002 in Largo, FL, age 84) notes that in 1960 he became a director of R. R. Howell Co., and in 1965 became president and chairman.
