O. K. Tool Holder Co. was established in 1901 and continued for some decades.

From 1902-06-26 The Iron Age

1902-01-02 The Iron Age has an article on the O. K. tool holder, which is the "unimproved" version that
January 1904 Railway Master Mechanic has an article on the newly introduced O. K. tool holder.

Southern Machinist

1912-03-05 trademark for "OK" in a diamond, granted to the O. K. Tool Holder Co.
March 1914 The Accessory and Garage Journal has an article on the new O. K. tool post holder from O. K. Tool Holder Co.
November 1914 Machinery has an article on the new O. K. alternate-angle milling cutter.
The 1917 lawsuit O. K. Tool Holder Co. v. J. H. Williams & Co. involved an alleged infringement of O. K.'s patent 802,206. The courts held that the improvements covered by that patent were minor and limited by prior art, and was not infringed. The summary of the lawsuit provides some company history.
The complainant commenced business in 1901, and for about four years manufactured under the prior Grant patent of July, 1901. The business was not successful because of the inadequacy of the holder. This situation led to the production of the holder of the patent in suit...
