  • The 1905 lawsuit Quaker Manufacturing Co. v. Zucker, Levett & Loeb Co., involves an electroplating kit that was on trial at Quaker, when a fire destroyed the factory and contents, including that kit. ZL&V sued to recover the cost but lost because the kit was still their property at the time of the fire and hence it was their misfortune when it was destroyed.
  • 1910-10-08 Metal Worker, Plumber and Steam Fitter. "WILLIAM PILE ECKFELDT, Reading, Pa., formerly connected with the late firm of Zucker, Levitt & Loeb [sic], Brooklyn, N. Y., electro-plating apparatus and supplies, is now associated with the Hanson & Van Winkle Co., Newark, N. J., in the same line of business."
  • May 1911 Brass World and Platers' Guide. "The Loeb Electrochemical Co., 467 Greenwich St., New York City, have purchased the assets, stock and fixtures of the bankrupt Levett Mfg. Co., of New York City, formerly manufacturers of plating and polishing equipment and supplies. The Levett Mfg. Co., recently purchased the business of the Zucker & Levett & Loeb Co., of New York City which went into bankruptcy, and afterwards became bankrupt themselves. Walter Loeb, of the Loeb Electrochemical Co., was formerly connected with the Zucker & Levett & Loeb Co."
