The Connecticut Tool & Engineering Co. was in business by 1921 as a partnership of Daniel J. Williams and Hans Einar Dineson. Dineson left the partnership in 1923, with Williams taking sole control of business. By 1947 they were making die filers and sawing machines. By 1958 they were also making honing machines. In 1959 Daniel J. Williams, Jr., who had been vice president of Connecticut Tool & Engineering, was hired as sales manager for Producto Machine Co. of Bridgeport; we suspect that Connecticut Tool & Engineering had ceased operations.
