Goldens’ Foundry, located in Columbus, GA was founded in 1882 as Goldens’ Brothers by Theodore Earnest “Theo” Golden and John Poitivent “Porter” Golden. In 1889, Goldens’ Brothers became incorporated and was renamed Goldens’ Foundry and Machine Company.
      While the company manufactured many items over the years, including cane mill machinery, Goldens' specialized in power transmission machinery.
