Abraham W. Harris established the Providence-based A. W. Harris Oil Co. by 1887 to make lubricating oils. They sometimes did business as the A. W. Harris Co. It seems rather strange, but this firm was one of (at least) three that manufactured the well-known Wilson radial arm saw.
