1882 Blandy's Sawmill
|
      H. & F. Blandy manufactured Steam-engine-powered saw mills; the 1860 article mentions the saw's 52" blade. They also produced both Portable (ca 1850's) and Stationary Steam Engines
The Blandy steam portable engine was built in 1856 by H. & F. Blandy, of Zanesville, OH. The 3hp new cost $300 while the 35hp new cost $2,300. Sizes we 3, 6, 8, 12, 15, 20, 25, 30, and 35hp.
