This company succeeded H. W. Beach, which had succeeded Henry L. Beach. Beach Manufacturing Co. was in operation by 1911. By 1982 it had been succeeded by the shortlived Beachmont Co., which in turn was succeeded by Beachmont-Tabor Co. By 1986 Beachmont-Tabor had ceased doing business and the Beach line of machinery finally disappeared from the marketplace.
At some point between 1911 and 1922, Beach bought out or otherwise took over operations of sanding-machinery maker W. A. Heath Machine Co., which moved its operations to Montrose and was operated as the Heath Machine Co. In addition, Beachmont-Tabor owned the line of MAX sanders originally made by Max Manufacturing Co. It is possible, but unconfirmed, that the MAX line was acquired during the Beach or Beachmont eras.
