The machine shown in Fig. 14 is made by the Pratt & Whitney Company, and the chief points of difference between it and the machine in Fig. 12 are made evident by a comparison of the illustrations. One of the oldest, and probably the best known, types of miller is the "column and knee" machine, which came into existence several years after the Lincoln miller first achieved success. |
