The above cut is an illustration of a Payne Automatic Centre-Crank engine, with two pulleys, and is especially adapted for electriclight service. They are made in sizes from 25 to 100 horse-power. All the trimmings are nickel plated, and the engineer finds little trouble in keeping it looking bright and clean. All these engines, as well as other styles not here shown, are manufactured by B. W. Payne & Sons, at the w orks in Elmira, N. Y. They can be seen at the stores of this company, at 45 Dey Street, New York, or at 10 South Canal Street, Chicago. |
