Besides the prominent indication of its ball-bearing construction, the partial name "Buffalo For" is visible on the casting adjacent to the post. 1914 was the first year that Buffalo was operating in Berlin (now Kitchener), and the ad illustrations, and possibly the actual machines, did not yet carry the Canadian Blower & Forge name. |
