Enclosed find a postal photo of my rig, consisting of a 20 h. p. Northwest engine and a. 36x58 separator, fitted with Wood Bros. self-feeder, and if operated right, makes a good rig. The crops were poor this year. Oats from 6 to 35 bushels per acre, wheat from 5 to 38 bushels per acre. I have threshed for the past eight years and had a good deal of experience with different makes of engines. For the past two seasons I have owned and operated my own rig with help of my brothers, one tends separator and the other one hauls the water. We always have had pretty good luck so far. |
